Sek Sau: Come on Ron…you can do it…thirty seconds left…
Ron: Don’t worry dad…I almost got it…
Sek Sau: 20 seconds son
Ron: Bingo!
A smirk appeared on Sek Sau’s face knowing that one-day his son can easily take over his organization once he leaves this planet.
Sek Sau: That took you 40 seconds…
Ron: Don’t worry…next time I’ll beat it and crack the code under thirty seconds
Sek Sau smiled: I know you will…you never seem to disappoint me
Ron: And I would never want to disappoint you…cause after all you’re my dad
Bobby walks in…
Bobby: How did Ron do?
Sek Sau: 40 seconds
Bobby: Not bad…not bad at all…it would’ve taken me days…
Ron: That’s because you’re a dunce when it comes to technology
Bobby started laughing: That’s true…very true…hey Ron…better start heading out…my daughter is waiting for you downstairs…and she doesn’t seem too happy
Ron: Ok uncle Bobby…I better get going now before she storms in here and stomps on my foot with those 3 inch heels
Both Sek Sau and Bobby started laughing…they knew full well that their little ones could probably one day get married to one another and start a family of their own…but they can’t…
Ron: I’ll see you two later
Ron quickly fixed his tie and went downstairs to see the beautiful young woman waiting anxiously for him…
Linda: What took you so long?
Ron: I was doing something for my dad…
Linda: It’s for the organization again isn’t it?
Ron nodded.
Linda: It’s always the organization…every time…remember last month you almost got killed
Ron smiled: But you were there to save me…my hero
Linda giggled: I swear I should be saying that…but I guess we can switch roles for a day…
Ron: Actually…I want the role of the strong and handsome guy and you can take the role of the beautiful young women who I shall escort to the party
Linda: That sounds like a plan to me
Ron: And it’s one good plan
Linda hooked onto Ron’s arm and the two walked out of the building and Ron like a gentlemen would, offered to open the door for her and helped her get on his convertible.
Linda: Thanks Ron
Ron: It’s my pleasure…
Ron drove off to a hotel where the party was being held…it was a charity ball that Sek Sau made Ron go every year…and as usual his partner would be his best friend Linda.
The two of them made a grand entrance as they walked in hand in hand and all eyes were on them. Maybe it was because of his suave feature or Linda’s innocent beauty that caught their attention…nonetheless they were the center of attention.
A familiar voice called out Ron’s name and as he turned around there he was…Raymond Lam…another agent for the organization.
Ron: Hey mate!
Raymond smiled: Ron buddy and Linda…how are you?
Ron: It’s been pretty good…
Raymond: Say hi to your dad for me will you?
Ron: Of course…so what mission are you on?
Raymond smirked: You see that lovely women over there…her name is Charmaine Sheh
Ron: Never heard of her…
Linda: Oh…her…isn’t she some model or spokesperson for something
Raymond: What would you do without Linda, Ron?
Ron laughed: I’d lose all sense of direction
Raymond laughed: That would probably be true…anyways…my mission is to get her to fall in love with me…
Ron: For what reason?
Raymond: Linda should know…
Linda: Well…I heard that she’s dating one of the richest men in this country…and that she has total access to all of his property and money…
Ron: So…you’re trying to make her fall in love with you so that you can gain her trust and then…wham…make his company fall into bankruptcy…
Raymond: That’s only half of it…the real story is that she’s helping him launder a great sum of money…and this can really affect our economy…and that the man behind all of this laundering is no other than “Father”
Ron: The person that my dad sent Bosco to go and find information about…
Raymond: Did you hear from him yet?
Ron shook his head: I haven’t seen him in months…really hope that he’s all right
Raymond: Hopefully he didn’t fall into “Father’s” trap… you know he has this secret weapon…a young lady, by the name of Leila…I heard that she’s capable of doing things to men that are not imaginable…
Linda: I’ve heard my dad talk about her…she was taken in by “Father” since she was young…and was trained and raised by him ever since
Raymond: No wonder I hear she’s cold and heartless…
Ron: I think that Charmaine girl is looking this way…
Raymond: Probably looking at you…she barely pays any attention to me…
Ron: She’s coming this way…
Charmaine: Raymond, aren’t you going to introduce me to your friend…(looking at Ron)
Raymond: Oh right…this here is my good friend Ron…
Charmaine: Ron…
Ron: And you are?
Charmaine: The name’s Charmaine…(she put her hand on his shoulder)
Ron: And let me introduce you to my girlfriend Linda…
Charmaine quickly took her hand off…
Charmaine: I see how it is…nice guys are always taken…
She walked away and Raymond quickly followed after he said his good-byes to Ron and Linda.
Linda: You should’ve gotten her phone number and e-mail…you two could hook up
Ron smiled: But she’s Raymond’s assignment…
Linda: But I can tell that you wouldn’t mind if she was yours…
Ron: But I’d like it better if you were mine
Linda slightly blushed and Ron took a hold of her hand and walked her onto the dance floor as the two shared a long lasting slow dance.
Linda: How come every time someone tries to come near you, you tell them I’m you’re girlfriend?
Ron smiled: But it’s true…you’re a girl and you’re my friend…unless you don’t want to be friends with me anymore (Ron made a puppy face)
Linda laughed: Why would I ever not want to be friends with a guy that’s as cute and charming as you?
